The WhisperKOOL Extreme ti 8000 is a high-performance wine cellar cooling system designed for through-the-wall installation. Like the tiR model, the Extreme ti 8000 offers efficient climate control for wine cellars, but with a key difference: the controller and display are located on the front face of the unit, meaning you will need to physically enter the cellar to monitor the conditions. This design provides a simple interface, ensuring ease of use when managing your cellar’s temperature and humidity.
When installing the Extreme ti 8000 through an exterior wall, it is recommended to pair the system with an exterior housing to protect the unit from outdoor elements, such as rain, snow, and extreme temperatures. This ensures that your cooling system remains protected and operates efficiently, regardless of weather conditions. If the system is installed through an interior wall, you can redirect the hot exhaust air to another location using the Condenser Ducting Plenum Kit, providing additional flexibility in installation and maintaining optimal airflow within your cellar.

The BTU/h value shown here is a theoretical number. There are often circumstances under which a cellar design may require a larger unit due to variables not accounted for in the formula. For example, these variables could be building materials (such as glass, stone, concrete, etc.) which do not offer the insulation capacity required to maintain the optimal cellar environment. We recommend purchasing a unit with a larger capacity to compensate for these unaccounted-for variables. An undersized unit can lead to premature failure and will most likely prevent the cellar from reaching your desired temperature.
