This home office is plain and boring and not used often. In addition, the homeowner enjoys wine and has bottles throughout the house, so he needs a space for wine storage and tasting. A standard sheetrock ceiling gets a major upgrade with wood planking and beams. An entry transom window is removed and an arch replaces the doorway. A closet is enlarged, insulated, refrigerated and installed with a modular wine rack system. Finally, stone is adhered to a wall and a wine tasting table is made from wine barrels.
