For over 25 years, Del Dotto has been acquiring vineyards in the lush regions of Napa Valley and the Sonoma Coast. The winery now has three separate locations for wine enthusiasts to enjoy: the Historic Del Dotto, Del Dotto Estate, and Piazza Del Dotto. Let's dive into these three venues and see what the Del Dotto family has to offer at each.

Historic Del Dotto Winery & Caves

The Historic Del Dotto is one of Napa Valley's first wineries and dates back to 1885. The Del Dotto family restored the winery in the 1990s and has since utilized the caves at this winery to age their red wines. By aging the wines in dark caves, the Del Dotto red wines result in a rich flavor. The family boasts that this aging process results in a bolder flavor than wines that are aged in modern facilities. The price to experience wine tasting in their historic caves ranges from $60 - $75, and includes a welcome wine, 6-8 tastings directly from the barrel, and some small bites to enjoy with the voluptuous red wines.

The beautiful architecture of the Del Dotto Estate dates back to 1150. It was purchased by the family in 1988 and pays homage to their Venetian heritage. Nestled in the picturesque St. Helena, CA, a stroll through this grand estate is breathtaking in and of itself. Even better, wine tastings are offered within the same price range as the Historic Del Dotto.

The Piazza Del Dotto is the family's newest winery. This sprawling estate is surrounded by 8.5 acres of cabernet sauvignon, vegetable gardens, tasting cabanas, 17th century fountains, and an outdoor barn. This location is perfect for those looking for an experience that involves eating savory meals while tasting fabulous wine. There are three different tastings available at this winery. Two tastings feature a fine selection of food and wine pairings. The third tasting offers five wines that are aged at this Italian-inspired farm. These tastings range from $45 - $125.
